    1. DC Overlay Solution for Base Stations

    Application Scenarios:

    CRAN equipment rooms and base station equipment room rooftops. Communication base stations with available photovoltaic installation space within the leased site area, featuring unobstructed southern and southeastern exposure.

    Solution Overview

    A DC photovoltaic overlay system for base stations refers to the installation of photovoltaic equipment on unused spaces such as the rooftops and surrounding open areas of existing communication base stations with grid power supply. This system supplements the grid power and prioritizes the use of photovoltaic power. DC photovoltaic overlay systems are categorized into two types: series-connected modules and parallel-connected modules. The parallel system consists of modules, adapters, combiner boxes, and DC meters.

    Unique DC Overlay Solution for Base Stations

    Basis Station Dual Power Supply Junction Box

    • The equipment room is equipped with two switching power supplies, neither of which can fully absorb the power generated by the photovoltaic system;
    • Following the minimalist station upgrade, the site has effectively become a multi-power-source facility.

    Key Technical Features
    • Dual-power-supply combiner boxes with dual-metering support and shared gateway controllers are upgraded from standard single-power-supply models to two specifications: 4+4 dual-input and 8+8 dual-input configurations.
    • Incorporates dual-channel independent solar power metering meters sharing a wireless transmission module, addressing issues where group platforms currently do not support single-site registration of multiple combiner boxes and eliminating the need for multiple IoT SIM card applications per site with multiple power sources;
    • The adapter automatically tracks the voltage of switching power supplies across different circuits to adjust its output voltage;

    Application Scenarios:

    Communication base station rooms requiring AC and 48V DC power supply, as well as distributed PV scenarios under 100kW—such as residential PV systems with favorable electricity rates, remote areas with power shortages, and vessels.
